It is a busy time right now and it is now possible to see my works four different locations 3 in Denmark and one in Germany

So if you are in Jutland Denmark pas by Hygum Museum of Art, Denmark as part of the exhibition ÅND (Spirit) Hygum Kunstmuseum. After that you could pass by the City of Vejle to see the international group exhibition at Vejle Kunsthal. And if in Copenhagen you should go and see my latest solo show at the Artist run exhibition space C4projects 

And if you are in Germany go By Herne ,and visit the Unlock Book fair. here im showing works as part of the BWNC group silk screen colaboration and as part of the exhibition at the unlock book fair that also display works following Artists:

Unlock: Visual Dissidence brings to Herne (Germany) a selection of publishers and artists whose work explores the creative area where graffiti, street art and contemporary art overlap.

The event starts with a two-day book fair featuring a selected line-up of independent European publishers working with progressive forms of uncommissioned public art.

Each exhibiting publisher invites one artist from their roster to take part in an exhibition that will remain on display for three weeks after the fair. The exhibition will explore artistic approaches that push the conventions of uncomissioned public art and take it into unusual territories.

In addition to the publishers’ stalls, the book fair weekend features book launches and a series of talks enquiring into issues crucial to the evolution of graffiti and street art. How should the exhibiting of street artworks be approached? In which directions can these practices be expected to evolve in the near future?

The fair, exhibition and accompanying events will take place at Alter Wartesaal – the former waiting room of Deutsche Bahn’s station in Herne.

Exhibition at Dimlight Hiroshima Japan 7/7-17/7 2018

I went to Japan the 26th of June, the reason why i went here, was simply because i have never been here before. It has been a good an really relaxed experience, no troubles, absolutely nothing went wrong, well at least nothing that wasnt out of my hands. 

I was invited to make a solo exhibition in the Dimlight Gallery in Hiroshima. It is run by the local artist Suiko. My time in Japan i have been drawing a lot and that was what i ended up with showing. Never before have made such a unplanned exhibition. It was a good and calm experience and on arrival, Suiko had some ideas about 3 walls i could paint at Dimlight aswell. And so i did. The exhibition consists of drawings and silkscreen printing.Dimlight is a place that focuses on graffiti writers or artists with graffiti background, works that focus on letters ideas of letters and works out of the graffiti culture context. I made a series of works, that is empressions of Japan. The series of silkscreen prints is a edition called "A" "a" i brouhgt from home and that i have worked with here.  Plus i showed 4 silkscreen prints and a photo manipulation plus 3 drawings on walls. and 3 video documentations of live painting. 

During the openings at Dimlight it is costume that the exhibiting artist work on a new piece and so i did. 

I am happy with the works and the exhibtion it was fun and relaxed to do and i have been treated fantastic by the hardworking proffesional staff of Dimlight. The show is on untill the 15/7 2018. Drop by and check it out. Thanks to Suiko and the Dimlight team.

Kyto Sightseeing 

the 26th of June i left Scandinavia to visit Japan. Only real plan to display some works in The Dimlight Artspace in Hiroshima. And to paint a public work in Tokyo. I have been told by people who have been here, that i was to expect to feel like i was on another planet. When travelling i allways look forward to take the train from the airport to the city, on that trip i imeadtly get a feeling on the city, the life the vibe, by scanning the graffiti, that is present by the trackside. Went in the extremely cold airconditioned train put on a warm sweater, sat down turned my head for the window and started to wait. Passing through countryside, countryside rice fields small citys stopping at one station the next and it just kept on going.  All walls by the trackside is clean! All! During a one and half hour train trip going deeper and deeper in to one of biggest citys in the world 37.million people there is no trace of any form of marking. NOT ONE! Not even a trace of something had been cleaned off or buffed? Just Nothing. There is no presence of graffiti-culutre or any kind of scribling or markings here in Japan. not that i have seen so far. For me that is extreme exotic. First i thought it was because the culture havent made the same impact here and nobody really picked the hiphop or graffiti culture op here. But i find that hard to believe. During my stay in Tokyo i was supposed to paint a store front shutter, it was organized by the local Hostel and Artist in recidence called Artnshelter in the Neigborhood, Samezu. My first thought on that was that i was just going to paint it the first day, in a couple of hours, but it soon became really clear that is was a long process to get the go to paint a old rusty small storage builidngs shutter. They wanted to see sketches, they wanted a company logo, wich i refused. I made a sketch that reflected on the story of the  street  where the shop is located. Finally the day came when i was supposed to paint. And it went fine, untill the owner of the building came by and allmost put an end to it all. But after some talking back and fourth it was ok. 

When going around Tokyo, it all feels like a machine, where all people do exactly what they are supposed to in certain ways, walking, the directions that the arrow shows on the ground, standing in the right line to wait to go on board on the train. Everything is extremely organized, it seems like it. I have noticed a little rebellion, everywhere is says no smoking on the street but walking the back streets you can see scared looking men standing in groups to 5-10 smoking the cigerets like there is no tommorow. Some people even run the red lights on bikes and walking.  But none individual expression saying look at me i exist in the fom of writing in public. Maybe all the has been reduced to social media here, or cos-play? or manga fantasies? I dont know. 

I have learned that there is a small graffit-scene, but they are having a hard time, no legal walls, only secret places and really underground. Sadly havent have enought time to research more on that. 

leaving for Osaka now, after that i will prepare my solo exhibition at Dimlight Artspace Hiroshima.
