Hello friends, welcome back to the second part of our talk with the scintillating Anders Reventlov. We bring it all home here in the second half, and this talk is chock full of pertinent information for young artists, all artists really. There is a lot of worthwhile conversation about some pretty burning issues in the art world today and issues it might be important to think about as practicing artists. We are going to hear about the exhibition space he started, the thoughts behind (it’s not what you think) and about the slow evolution of his own thoughts on his work. It can be glacial, but the rewards are sweet. You’ll also hear about the journey of context, the books which changed everything, and why you have to do what feels wrong. Let’s do this.

Greetings gang, here we are back again. In the midst of some upheaval and expansion, we bring you part one of our stellar talk with Anders Reventlov. He is the perfect guest for times of change, and he’s the first one ever we’ve met through the show itself. He is an unusually engaged fellow (and we meet a lot of engaged people) and since meeting him we’ve found he is a talented artist as well. He has a really interesting story, he works harder than just about anybody we’ve met, and he seems to retain an unflaggingly positive attitude throughout. He’s a teacher, he runs and independent art space, he’s a father, an artist, he does just about everything. But we’ll let him tell you the rest of the story, such as growing up painting Warhammer figures, getting harassed in the conservative graffiti world and being traumatized by art teachers. New Wall In Denmark

With the help of 48 Fresh Kids i made a new permanent work

at a private school in Denmark.

Based on drawings and ideas made by the kids, I worked it all together to one big drawing. By using the paper drawings, directly om the wall i simply continued

what the kids from paper to wall.

After the whole work was considered done, all kids could get a piece of the drawing in the wall. Now with a mixture, of my drawing and their original motive. Below some pictures from the process and the finished wall. The wall was made to mark the 150 th annaversery of N.Koch school. A huge thanks goes to all the kids involved and Bettina Hee Rømer.

BWNC Exhibition

Just came back from Dresden Germany. After a really productive week in the name of art.

I was invited to participate in the exhibition

Beer Waiting and Needle Caps, curated by Jens Besser. I had the pleasure of exhibiting together with Aris (IT) Vilx (Fr) and Jens Besser (De)

On the announced opening day we all started to work in the exhibition space "Hole of fame". The idea was that we should work and make the works develop during a week. No plans but to see what might happen. This week we produced work outside of exhibitions space, a ,screen print edition of unique works involving each artist and two artis talks held by Jens Besser and I, about our artistic pratice.

This is the first exhibition/project of many others to come in the none defined BWNC format. It will in the future develop and become a travelling project in the forms of murals, public artworks, talks the exhibition will be travelling first to the countries of the four artists involved. stay tuned for more.
