BWNC Exhibition

Just came back from Dresden Germany. After a really productive week in the name of art.

I was invited to participate in the exhibition

Beer Waiting and Needle Caps, curated by Jens Besser. I had the pleasure of exhibiting together with Aris (IT) Vilx (Fr) and Jens Besser (De)

On the announced opening day we all started to work in the exhibition space "Hole of fame". The idea was that we should work and make the works develop during a week. No plans but to see what might happen. This week we produced work outside of exhibitions space, a ,screen print edition of unique works involving each artist and two artis talks held by Jens Besser and I, about our artistic pratice.

This is the first exhibition/project of many others to come in the none defined BWNC format. It will in the future develop and become a travelling project in the forms of murals, public artworks, talks the exhibition will be travelling first to the countries of the four artists involved. stay tuned for more.

Slipp fargefantasien løs, Quick spraylakk af Norsk fabrikat den originale med bly, højglans, legendarisk for den tykke konsistens, der gjorde handlingen at male med spraylakk i 80erne og 90erne en udsøgt og sand fornøjelse! Noget der giver en forbindelse til noget fra en svunden tid. En forbindelse til ideen om en bestemt måde at se tilværelsen på. Jeg oplevede, Quicken uden bly, med metal etiket, og så senere fik nogle venner og jeg fat i dem med papirs etiket, og hvor synes vi, det var godt! Var det fordi vi havde fået at vide vi skulle synes det var godt, eller var det en opfattelse vi selv dannede os, Var det vores egen mening?! Lugten! Den klistrede metal smag i ens hals efter at have malet i ti timer uden stop. Hel lakeringen af mit ansigt, hvor det virkelig føltes dejligt! Fordi det var Quick Spraylakk. Ens sammenklistrede øjenlåg og fuldstændigt stive stofhandsker efter at have brugt dette magiske norske vidunder middel. Det var helt rigtigt!

Quick Spraylakk Betegner muligheden og evnen til at udfylde ens potentiale. Quick Spaylakk beskrives ofte som det at opnå visse mål, såsom ,uddannelse, indflydelse, midler og selvkontrol.

Samtidig skal man skal være overordentlig skeptisk overfor konceptet om Quick Spraylakk, Da samme Quick Spraylakk kan føre til en situation hvor staten påtvinger folk en bestemt livsførelse, med den begrundelse at denne er den mest rationelle, og derfor er hvad en person burde ønske sig, uanset om det er hvad denne person faktisk ønsker sig.

For filosoffen Hannah Arendt er Quick Spraylakk at mennesker handler sammen for at sætte noget nyt i samfundet. Det nyttige og det, som angår den daglige drift, hører hjemme i arbejdets verden, men i det, hun kalder handlingens verden, bliver det nye til som ristede løg.

Fakta: Ristede løg er en vigtig ingrediens, I en nordisk national ret

together with a pile of fried onion wich serves as an important ingredient

in a typical nordic national dish called

the "Hot dog"

Title: "Signs and traces of actions"

The floor consists of ca.400 original drawings made in a timespan over two years.

They have all served as parts of murals, and drawings made around denmark and europe during the last two years. Placed directly on the floor. It is now op to the individual visitor if they want to

step on the onprotected drawings/signs/traces. The smell of freedom, in the persona of fried onion will eventually drag people inside the exhibition
